Our work is a commitment to conversation-based learning, informal and community education. We have captured this in our unique way: “a home from home approach”.
Community PRAXIS cultivates conversations; these lie at the centre of what informal educators do. It is not simply the form that our work takes, but also our purpose.
Through conversation, testing out prejudices (prejudgments) and searching out meaning, we become more critical. Language exists not for the sake of expression alone but for the sake of the community, so that we become better able to name our feelings and thoughts and place ourselves in the world.
